Reading not what is to be read for curriculum and grades but, reading for fun and acquiring knowledge is a must. These days, reading has taken a back seat in many households. Nowadays, there is no time set for the same in tightly packed schedules and timetables. Life is a discovery, reading provides an easy access to what the others have discovered already. Households with reading habit as a culture are bound to be more knowledgeable than those where it is not accorded prominence.

When one reads, imagination and interpretation skills occupy centre stage. In addition to that, visualization skills become superior and so do convincing skills. Consequently, overall presentation skills and personality develop tremendously. Yes, books are indeed a good source. Having said that, online reading/browsing is equally good too, especially if it is structured and scheduled.
