Staying Relevant in a Child’s Life

Not agreeing with what your kids say is different from not being able to strike a conversation with your kids. When children are unable to talk about things with their parents, irrespective of the response, it is then that the situation of generation gap arises. To remain relevant in a child’s life, it is essential to give them the comfort where they feel free to talk to you before anybody and involve you in everything they aspire for.

Kids love to be around parents when parents listen, understand and accept their kids as who the kids are and not what their parents want them to be. Acceptance is the key to enriching the purest form of this selfless love.  And for that to happen, it is necessary to stay updated with the world your child is experiencing.
